We’re on the lookout for a passionate Pizza Maker/Line Cook to join our team. In this role, you'll be making pizzas and supporting overall food preparation in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate loves working with food, has a eye for detail, and enjoys creating pizzas that keep our guests coming back for more.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas, toppings, and sauces according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens and prep stations safely and efficiently.
- Assist in food preparation for other menu items like salads, appetizers, and side dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety procedures including sanitizing surfaces regularly.
- Support high-volume production during busy hours while ensuring quality and consistency.
- Follow recipe adherence closely to meet presentation and flavor expectations.
- Help with inventory management by organizing ingredients and reporting shortages promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant settings is preferred; experience with pizza making or line cooking is a plus.
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and food production are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures is essential.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
