Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep outdoor spaces pristine and healthy.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers, safely and effectively.
- Support planting projects by preparing soil, planting trees, shrubs, flowers and mulching.
- Conduct routine landscape upkeep such as weed control, mulching, fertilizing, and snow plowing during winter months.
- Assist with tree care activities like trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate techniques and tools.
- Maintain equipment through regular cleaning and basic mechanical knowledge to ensure optimal performance.
Experience
- Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, but not required but prefered; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant care, soil preparation, and landscape maintenance techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to follow safety procedures diligently while operating machinery.
- Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor labor tasks in various weather conditions throughout the year.
- Basic mechanical knowledge can help troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and efficiently.
