KBI-Beverage/Refrigeration Service Technician

KBI Beverage Service Technician – New Orleans, LA

We have an opportunity for a Refrigeration Technician to join our New Orleans, LA team. As a Refrigeration Technician you will provide reactive, installation, preventative maintenance, and removal services on customer-owned beverage equipment. You will also build strong relationships with our customers and maintain the highest standards of service and customer service.

You will:

• You will be responsible for following EPA guidelines for storage of refrigerant supplies and EPA guidelines for charging/evacuation of refrigeration system.
• Build relationships with customers by providing excellent service and support.
• Make equipment recommendations to customer and follow up with Sales Department

Key Qualifications:

• Valid state issued driver’s license
• HVAC certification/EPA 608 certification required
• Ability to use basic hand tools, familiarity with power tools.
• Ability to stand, walk, twist at the waist, lift up to 75 pounds
• 50% - 75% overnight travel (hotel & per diem provided)

Compensation:
The hourly pay for this role is: $19.00 - 21.00/hr.
