Sales Consultant (Relocation Assistance)
Ken’s is a family-owned business in Grand Island, NE, serving our community since 1962. We sell appliances, furniture, and mattresses — but what sets us apart is our expert sales team that builds lasting customer relationships.
The Role
We’re looking for a motivated Sales Consultant to join our team. This is a full-commission position with unlimited earning potential. You’ll engage customers, match them with the right products, and provide an outstanding shopping experience.
Earning Potential
Our commission structure rewards performance. While individual results vary, our top sales consultant is on track to earn well over $100,000 this year, and most earn between $50,000–$70,000 annually. We also offer a 120-day transition period with a guaranteed hourly rate of starting at $22 to $25 per hour to help new hires learn our systems, processes, and customer approach before moving fully onto commission compensation.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and assist customers with appliances, furniture, and mattresses
- Build trust and create repeat business
- Maintain product knowledge through training
- Contribute to team sales goals
- Keep the showroom organized and inviting
What We’re Looking For
- Appliance Sales experience.
- Furniture Sales experience.
- Big ticket sales experience.
- Goal-driven and self-motivated
- Professional, personable, and confident with customers
- Strong digital communication skills — a successful Ken’s salesperson checks email regularly, uses Microsoft Teams effectively, and stays connected with the team and customers through digital tools
- High school diploma or equivalent
Signing bonus $3,500
- $1500 paid after 6 months of successful employment
- $2000 paid after 12 months of successful employment
Ken’s Sales Associate Relocation Assistance (Only for candidates that relocate)
- Up to $2,500 moving expense reimbursement
- 2 weeks of temporary housing or $1,500 stipend
*Relocation assistance will be forgiven after twelve (12) months of employment. If the employee leaves the company before completing twelve months of employment, they will be required to repay the relocation assistance.
