We are looking for a candidate that can thrive in a demanding and fast paced environment. The Express Lube Technician is responsible for performing minor maintenance services and inspections on vehicles in a quick thorough manner, as assigned; and in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and standards. This is a full-time position. Our Express Lube Technicians get to work with an amazing team and be part of the Ken Ganley Auto Group which is Ohio’s largest dealer group and now ranks #14 in the country overall.
**Pay: $30,000- $40,000/Yr Bonus DOE**
Responsibilities:
The day-to-day duties include the following:
- Performing oil changes on guest vehicles
- Inspecting oil, cabin, air filters, and vehicle fluid levels and replaces or replenishes as necessary
- Checks tire pressures and adds air, as needed
- Rotates tires and inspects brake linings/drums and brake pads/discs
- Performs a thorough check of guest vehicles, refers needed repairs and preventive maintenance to Service Advisor.
- Documents all work performed on repair order and inspection sheet
- Operates and maintains in good condition all lubrication equipment
- Assists the service department as needed
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
- Maintains assigned workspace in an organized and clean condition.
- Understand and follow all state and federal regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazard waste.
- Maintains high ethical standards in all actions
- Reliable attendance required.
- 8 hour shift Monday - Friday, availability to work Saturday as required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one (1) year automotive repair experience, desired; or a combination of education and experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance required
- Must have great attention to detail and ability to read and comprehend instructions.
- Oil change: 1 year (Required)
- A high school diploma or equivalent; Automotive Program/School preferred
