The Museum dates back to 1881 with the founding of the St. Louis School and Museum of Fine Arts at Washington University. It has a strong collection of 19th-, 20th-, and 21st-century European and American art, including paintings, sculptures, prints, installations, photographs, and antiquities.
Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Museum Attendant located in St. Louis, MO. The Museum Attendant will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of artwork and visitors, monitoring the galleries, assisting with visitor inquiries, providing information about the exhibits, enforcing museum policies, and assisting with special events and programs.

- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Interest in art history
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Experience in a museum or cultural institution is a plus
- Flexible schedule and availability to work weekends and evenings
- High school diploma or equivalent
