We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications
- Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and efficiently
- Perform framing, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, and rebar installation as needed
- Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, siding, flooring, and trim with attention to detail
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks and material handling using appropriate safety protocols
- Conduct demolition, water damage restoration, mold remediation, and other restoration industry tasks when required
- Follow construction estimating procedures to ensure accurate material usage and project timelines
Skills
- Proficiency in construction estimating and interpreting technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques including frame carpentry, metal stud framing, cabinet installation, and door hanging
- Experience with drywall finishing, caulking, siding installation, flooring setup, and fixture mounting
- Familiarity with woodworking tools such as saws, drills, sanders; power tools for woodworking; wood construction materials; woodworking machines
- Ability to read construction plans accurately and follow safety guidelines for power tool use
- Experience in residential carpentry projects including remodeling and renovation work
- Knowledge of rebar installation, plastering techniques, stucco application, water damage restoration processes
- Skilled in handling heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining efficiency on busy construction sites
- Background in the restoration industry or handyman work is a plus
