Personal Injury Intake Specialist / Pre-Suit Legal Assistant
Job Description:
Kemp Injury Law is seeking a motivated, organized, and personable Personal Injury Intake Specialist / Pre-Suit Case Support to join our growing personal injury firm. This position will primarily handle new client intake while also providing administrative and case support throughout the pre-suit process.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is comfortable speaking with clients, can manage multiple priorities, and takes initiative.
Responsibilities
- Conduct new client intakes and assist with client onboarding and opening new case files
- Maintain regular communication with clients to gather necessary information and provide case updates
- Organize and maintain case files, records, and legal documents using case management software
- Assist with obtaining medical records, bills, accident reports, insurance information, and other case-related documentation
- Communicate and follow up with medical providers, insurance companies, and other parties regarding outstanding records or information
- Calendar and monitor deadlines, appointments, and required follow-ups
- Ensure client files and case information are accurate, complete, and up to date
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- 1 year of personal injury legal experience preferred
- Proficiency with document and case management systems
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Highly organized, dependable, and self-motivated
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Professional and compassionate when communicating with clients and prospective clients
Compensation & Schedule
Pay: $18-$20 per hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Position: Full-Time
