Kemlee Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate is professional, punctual, and able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and the capacity to manage multiple estimating projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute comprehensive estimating efforts for manufacturing projects.
- Review drawings and specifications to determine accurate material, labor, and equipment requirements.
- Identify project risks, inconsistencies, and errors; communicate with customers promptly to obtain needed clarifications.
- Assess historical job costs to understand labor production rates and equipment needs.
- Process purchase orders and maintain organized schedules and bid timelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams while also working independently on assigned projects.
- Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and team members in person and via email

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of estimating experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to type 25 WPM or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, etc.).
- Ability to multitask and manage several bids within strict timelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer savvy and eager to learn new software systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- AutoCAD experience or familiarity with similar CAD programs.
- Background in metal manufacturing or related industrial production fields.
