Engineering Interns support the design and execution of custom water and wastewater treatment equipment while applying academic engineering concepts in a manufacturing environment.

Engineering Interns support the design and execution of custom water and wastewater treatment equipment while applying academic engineering concepts in a manufacturing environment.
Your Responsibilities Will Be
- Assist engineers with design calculations, equipment sizing, and technical documentation.
- Support development of process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, and layout drawings.
- Review customer specifications and assist with compliance checks.
- Help coordinate technical information with manufacturing and procurement teams.
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and system documentation activities.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, submittals, and engineering files.
- Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program (Engineering, etc.).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Interest in manufacturing, industrial systems, or water/wastewater treatment.
- Fundamentals of industrial water/wastewater treatment.
- Real world application of engineering theory.
- Exposure to custom equipment manufacturing and fabrication processes.
This position typically requires standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and performing repetitive motions.
- Concentrated mental and/or visual attention. The work involves performing complex tasks to very close accuracy and quality specifications, or a high degree of hand and eye coordination for sustained periods.
- The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; any disagreeable elements are generally absent during normal performance of job.
