The Entry level Associate Buyer serves as a key liaison between manufacturing operations and supplier partners, ensuring material availability to support business needs. In this role, you will analyze ERP requirements, issue purchase orders, and monitor delivery performance. You will work closely with suppliers to resolve quality or delivery issues and support cost-savings initiatives through negotiation and contract implementation.
This position plays a critical role in managing supplier relationships, tracking performance against key metrics, and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings a strong sense of urgency, excellent communication skills, and a desire to make an immediate, meaningful impact. This is an hourly onsite position located in Pinellas Park, FL. The hours are 8:00 – 5:00 pm.

Your Responsibilities Will Be
- Issue purchase orders to approved suppliers to procure materials at the lowest total cost while meeting quality, reliability, and delivery requirements
- Analyze supplier quotations, select vendors, enter purchase orders, and coordinate delivery schedules
- Monitor open purchase orders and proactively expedite deliveries as needed
- Resolve supplier quality, delivery, and performance issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with internal customers and supplier partners
- Analyze data and prepare reports; provide recommendations related to inventory levels, safety stock, and forecast consumption
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or a related field
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- ERP systems
