This position will ultimately be based at our brand-new South Lebanon branch, which is anticipated to open in January 2027! Until then, you will work between our West Chester and Springdale branches during training. Once the South Lebanon location opens, you will transition to the new branch as your primary worksite and be part of an exciting chapter for our team!

POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for providing a variety of paying and receiving functions, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers’ checks, money orders, and cash advances. This position will also involve balancing each day's transactions and verifying cash totals. Additionally, the position involves performing a variety of member services functions such as opening and closing accounts, renewing certificates, and assisting members with bookkeeping and checking account problems. Responsible for closing loans via DocuSign. Actively cross sells Credit Union products and services. The Universal MSR position offers a blended schedule, working both Teller and MSR shifts. Scheduling will very depending on coverage and branch needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

• Receives share deposits and loan payments in person or by mail.
• Processes cash advances, cashier's checks, money orders, and similar transactions.
• Processes bank-to-bank wires and Western Union wires.
• Responsible for understanding IRAs and HSAs and helping members open or service existing IRAs or HSAs.
• Receives and processes new member accounts, makes changes to existing accounts, and closes member accounts. 
• Assist members with opening and closing safe deposit boxes.
• Keeps members informed of Credit Union service and policies, including types of available accounts, interest and dividend rates, payroll deduction options, or other services.
• Actively cross sells Credit Union products and services and follows up with members.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
A high school graduate or equivalent.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of Teller policies and procedures.
Basic understanding of Credit Union operations.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
One month or twelve months of similar or related experience.
Credit Union or financial institution experience desired.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Good communication skills.
Professional appearance, dress, and attitude.
Good math skills.
Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment including adding machines, typewriters, copy machines, coin and money counting machines, and telephones.
Good typing skills.
