As a Light Assembly Worker, your primary function will be packaging a high quality product and some light assembly, while ensuring quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Mass packaging of an assembled item.
- Some assembly of products using adhesives and plastic molding.
- Interpret technical specifications and assembly instructions to ensure accurate completion of tasks
- Conduct quality checks during packaging and assembly processes to identify defects or inconsistencies
- Follow safety standards in production, including proper use of safety equipment and adherence to safety protocols
- Assist with process improvement initiatives by suggesting ways to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in packaging and assembly work is preferred
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and manually handle materials as needed
- Commitment to safety protocol adherence and maintaining a safe working environment
