Position Summary
The Production and Administrative Coordinator provides hands-on production, operational, and administrative support within Kelyniam Global’s medical device manufacturing environment. This role supports CNC machining operations, implant preparation, inspection, packaging, quality documentation, and facility upkeep while ensuring compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Operations Support
- Provide assistance to the Operations Specialist with machines and tools related to CNC machinery and equipment.
- Clean and prepare surgical implants in accordance with established cleaning procedures.
- Inspect and package surgical implants prior to shipment.
- Complete all required QMS (Quality Management System) documentation related to assigned tasks.
- Support the design team and COO as needed to facilitate case flow and administrative throughput.
Facility, Safety & Compliance
- Maintain facility safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Perform routine pest control tasks as required.
- Conduct general cleaning of the facility, including but not limited to:
- 3D printing areas
- Manufacturing and machining spaces
- CAD room
- Kitchen and lobby
Administrative & Continuous Improvement
- Perform additional administrative and operational tasks as needed to support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Availability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as required.
Preferred
- Advanced Manufacturing Certificate strongly recommended.
- Knowledge and understanding of medical device manufacturing.
- Prior administrative and/or production experience in a manufacturing environment.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Working conditions are typical of an office environment, with additional work performed in manufacturing and machining areas with exposure to hazardous equipment.
- Must follow all safety requirements of the facility and work environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to production, cleaning, and material handling.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20-$30 per hour depending on experience
