🔹 Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Application Analyst / Technical Support Specialist to join our client’s IT team. Under the guidance of the Application Support Manager, you will support and maintain a portfolio of business applications—including cloud-based, packaged, and custom-built solutions. The role includes collaboration with IT teams, vendors, and occasional Help Desk coverage (including weekends).
🔹 Key Responsibilities- Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 application support: log, track, analyze, resolve, or escalate issues.
- Work directly with vendors and internal IT teams to resolve incidents and implement enhancements.
- Configure, deploy, upgrade, and maintain supported applications per SDLC standards.
- Participate in testing, planning, and implementation of software updates.
- Create and maintain support documentation, SOPs, and knowledge-base articles.
- Recommend enhancements to improve application support processes.
- Investigate and resolve production issues using strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Manage user accounts and permissions based on procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service, maintain organization and prioritization of tasks.
- Be available for on-call rotations when required.
- Work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
- 5 years in Information Systems or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 5 years Customer Service or Technical Support experience.
- 5 years application support experience, ideally in healthcare (EMR/EHR).
- Hands-on experience with:
- eClinicalWorks, Netsmart myEvolv, or similar EMR systems (Highly Preferred).
- Strong skills in:
- Microsoft 365 Suite
- Excel (Power Query, PivotTables), Access, Power BI (Plus)
- Cloud-based applications
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
- Self-starter with proven ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
