From ultra-compact pistols and folding carbines to revolutionary bullpup designs and high-capacity platforms, you'll gain hands-on experience operating state-of-the-art CNC milling machines to produce the precision components that define KelTec's reputation for disruptive engineering.

Duties

  • Operate advanced CNC machines, ensuring precise tooling setup, machine calibration, and optimal performance for tight-tolerance firearm components.
  • Read and interpret complex technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and detailed manufacturing specifications to machine parts that meet KelTec's rigorous standards for innovation and reliability.
  • Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools — calipers, micrometers, gauges, and more — to verify every dimension and feature supports flawless firearm function.
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting and maintenance on CNC equipment to keep production running smoothly in our fast-paced, high-tech environment.
  • Safely handle raw materials and machined components throughout the facility, including the use of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while strictly following all safety protocols, 5S principles, and KelTec's commitment to quality at every step.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required — we provide comprehensive training for motivated candidates who show potential.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, measuring instruments, and fabrication processes is a plus.
  • Strong basic math skills for accurate measurements, calculations, and blueprint interpretation are essential to hit the precision levels demanded in next-generation firearms manufacturing.
  • A proactive attitude, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine excitement for innovative technology will set you up for success.
