Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Leasing and Marketing Professional to drive property occupancy and enhance community engagement. In this dynamic role, you will manage leasing activities, develop innovative marketing strategies, and foster positive relationships with prospective and current residents. Your expertise in property management, customer service, and legal compliance will ensure a seamless leasing experience while maximizing property visibility and appeal. Responsibilities

  • Greet prospective residents with enthusiasm, conduct property tours, and effectively communicate the features and benefits of available units.
  • Manage the leasing process from application to move-in, including screening applicants, verifying information, and preparing lease agreements in accordance with Fair Housing regulations and legal standards.
  • Develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns utilizing digital platforms, social media, and community outreach to increase property visibility.
  • Maintain accurate data entry within property management systems such as Yardi or OneSite, ensuring all resident records are current and compliant with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure properties are well-maintained, addressing resident concerns promptly through effective conflict management.
  • Uphold legal administrative procedures related to landlord-tenant law, Section 8 housing programs, contracts, and fair housing policies.
  • Foster positive customer relationships through excellent phone etiquette, upselling additional services or amenities when appropriate, and providing exceptional customer service at all touchpoints.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in property leasing, property management, or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
  • Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite; experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing policies, and legal administrative procedures related to affordable housing is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and manage conflict professionally.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with experience in sales or upselling amenities/services to prospective residents.
  • Office experience including phone etiquette, contracts management, and general administrative tasks such as filing and data entry.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively with team members across departments. Pay: From $11.00 per hour
