Kelsom Clinic is a trusted primary care practice serving the Irving and Mesquite communities for more than 20 years. Our clinic offers comprehensive medical care, including primary care, chronic disease management, immigration physicals (I-693), diagnostic testing, preventive services, and wellness treatments. We are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to every patient.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and preventive care to patients across the lifespan.
• Conduct patient assessments, history taking, and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions within the NP scope of practice.
• Order, perform, and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, EKGs, and other diagnostics.
• Perform and complete Immigration Medical Exams (I-693), including required documentation.
• Administer vaccines, injections, medications, and in-clinic treatments.
• Develop treatment plans and provide patient counseling on health maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, PAs, MAs, nurses, and administrative staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system.
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies, HIPAA privacy standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote a welcoming, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas (FNP, AGNP, or similar).
• Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited nursing program.
• National board certification (AANP or ANCC) preferred.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or primary care is a plus.
• Strong clinical judgment, interpersonal skills, and patient communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
