Essential Functions
- Open/Close Library
- Log on/Shut down all computers
- General knowledge of computer systems (Microsoft programs, Power Point, Follett/Destiny, VIZOR, InTouch, Skyward); 10 key knowledge; scanner knowledge (saving to accounts)
- Manage Chromebook distribution and monitor inventory in VIZOR. Prepare Chromebook bags and chargers as necessary.
- Document Chromebook damanges in VIZOR
- Run reports and monitor inventory of loaner Chromebooks and take necessary steps to retrieve unreturned Chromebooks
- Enter fines in InTouch
- Check in and check out books/textbooks in Destiny
- Maintain student store items including pencils, notebooks, stamps, poster board, etc.
- Assist staff and studetns with laminating projets
- Assist staff with library schedule requests
- Assist students with active directory for computer log on, library research, computer research
- Assist students with google passwords, replace old passwords with google account request form
- Process new and old books with book/material processing (spine labels, bar codes, staming, due date, cataloging, book cover)
- Handle routine telephone calls and direct calls to appropriate personnel
- Enter/withdraw all student/staff on library system
- Collect inventory including spring inventory collection, run reports, resolve all reports
- Maintain AV equipment room. Check in/Check out, inventory control, equipment repair
- Trouble shoot 35 computers, library printers, staff workroom copy machine and printer
- Order media from ESD. Distribute and return to ESD
- Assist staff and student with AV throughout the date (TV/DVD/VCR, video projector, laptop presentation
- Manage daily, weekly, monthly student reports
- Access fines and receive money
- Make deposits
- Track all loaned out books between middle/high school
- Be punctual and have a regular/consistent attendance
- Assist in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulations, and board policies
- Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities
