About This Role
We are seeking a Project Assistant to support our project management team. The Project Assistant will play a key role in ensuring smooth project operations by assisting with documentation, coordination, and communication across teams.
What You'll Do
- Assist in the planning, execution, and successful completion of mechanical and automation control projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with the estimating team to review and validate project budgets, scopes, and timelines, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining strong relationships and addressing needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution and effective communication across all stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and progress reports.
- Ensure all projects adhere to applicable building codes, safety standards, and industry regulations, and proactively address any compliance issues that arise.
- Order and track materials and equipment to make sure that our jobs run efficiently and smoothly.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Knowledge of HVAC and/or building automation controls industry is a bonus – not required.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, and running a computer.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Hourly pay of $20-22 USD.
