About This Role
We are seeking a few talented HVAC Preventative Maintenance Technician's to join our team. This full-time position involves maintaining commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, and heat pumps.
- Clean coils, replace belts and filters, check refrigerant levels, lubricate motors, replace or repair defective components such as motors, compressors, fans, thermostats, etc.
- Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding service findings and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records, including work performed, parts used, and system conditions.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting to note issues before they become major.
- Report findings to service teams or the customer.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or HVAC certification preferred.
- 1 year of experience
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
- EPA 608 certification (required).
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
- NATE certification
- RMGA certification
- Experience with commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
- Familiarity with digital service tools and mobile work order platforms.
