What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, and heat pumps.
- Diagnose and repair issues with hydronic heating/cooling systems
- Work with AHUs and VAVs to ensure proper airflow and temperature control.
- Replace or repair defective components such as motors, compressors, fans, and thermostats.
- Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding service findings and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and system conditions.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or HVAC certification preferred.
- 3 years of experience servicing boiler and chiller systems.
- Knowledge of hydronics, HVAC controls, and building automation systems.
- EPA 608 certification (required).
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
- NATE certification or equivalent.
- Experience with commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
- Familiarity with digital service tools and mobile work order platforms.
- Hourly Rate: Up to $42/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
