Description:
As a Product Manager in Global Security, you will understand stakeholder security needs and drive activities related to weaknesses, vulnerabilities, and exploits in technologies to solve customer problems and create value. This role supports penetration testing, vulnerability management, and the Product Security Defense Center, operating primarily in the embedded product Red Team space. You’ll help shape the vision, strategy, processes, and roadmap for the product security team, translating stakeholder needs into clear objectives and supporting implementation of ISO24882 standards.
Duties:
- Run or be familiar with agile processes (scrum, kanban, iterative development)
- Listen to stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and security engineers to deeply understand needs and opportunities
- Use business judgement and technical knowledge to inform strategy, objectives, and feasibility
- Coordinate and align product roadmap/features with other product teams to manage dependencies
- Work with engineering teams to validate and support solutions meeting quality, performance, and cost goals
- Scope, assess, and communicate penetration testing across product space
- Lead and drive vulnerability management implementation across teams
Qualifications:
Education:
- Undergraduate degree in engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, systems engineering, business, or similar
Skills and Experience:
- 5 years building successful products in a program management or systems role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong initiative and relationship-building abilities
- Technical aptitude to engage with engineers
- Basic product knowledge in off-highway agriculture/construction or harsh environment vehicles
- Knowledge of engineering principles and product knowledge
- Experience in hardware/software design of embedded controller products or systems
- Understanding of embedded security (secure boot, HSM, cryptographic key lifecycle)
- Experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks/regulatory requirements for connected machinery
