SAP IS-U Architect

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a SAP IS-U Architect to join their team! This position is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota or Denver, Colorado.

Duties

• Develop and maintain end to end solution architecture for SAP S/4 and any supporting non-SAP systems
• Define based on knowledge of SAP S/4 processes the SAP data access and integration capabilities available to deliver core business functional and non-functional requirements
• Define, present, and govern SAP standards and best practices for enterprise-wide adoption
• Ensure scalability, security, observability and performance in all solution architecture designs
• Lead the design and implementation of the end-to-end solution aligned with a business process that is primary to SAP S/4 using SAP BTP and SAP BDC and the related services such as: Integration Suite, Event Mesh, DataSphere and Databricks etc.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Provide technical leadership and guidance during project execution
• Establish and maintain SAP and related integration and data governance frameworks
• Document, present for review and approval, and socialize standards and reusable patterns
• Conduct reviews to ensure compliance with architectural principles
• Stay current with SAP application, integration and data platform technologies and trends
• Recommend improvements to existing landscapes
• Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing
  
  

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Science or equivalent experience
• 10 years of experience in SAP technologies, including core modules and integration
• 5 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA Utilities (IS-U)
• 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite
• 3 years of experience in AWS technologies
• Experience solutioning in the S4 HANA Utilities business processes
• Expertise in SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, Event Mesh, and related BTP services
• Strong understanding of integration protocols: SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, RFC
• Familiarity with hybrid integration scenarios: on-premise and cloud
• Experience in AWS integration and data movement technologies
• Ability to define and enforce standards, patterns, and best practices for end-to-end architecture solutions
• Strong knowledge of security, authentication, and authorization within the SAP architecture and across integration and data sharing landscape
• Experience with designing for scalability, performance, and high-availability
• Excellent written and oral communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to lead and mentor technical teams
• Ability to work across complex corporate landscapes that include multiple vendors, contractors and employees
• SAP Certified Solution Architect or SAP Technology Professional Certification
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of non-SAP integration platforms and middleware

The approximate pay range for this position is between $82.00 and $117.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
