The role will also leverage AI-assisted development tools, with an emphasis on independent engineering judgment and ownership of the resulting code.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management, deployment, and operational tasks
- Develop and manage Terraform modules and infrastructure as code
- Perform Linux system administration and troubleshooting
- Support and maintain Cassandra and SQL/Oracle database environments
- Troubleshoot automation failures, infrastructure drift, and configuration issues
- Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems
- Develop scripts and tooling using Python, Bash, or similar languages
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve development efficiency while validating and testing all generated code
- Document automation, infrastructure, and processes for long-term maintainability
- Collaborate with networking, database, security, and platform engineering teams
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive operational and infrastructure tasks
- Experience in Automation Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, Systems Engineering, or a related role
- Strong hands-on experience with Ansible
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
- Practical experience with Cassandra and SQL/database environments
- Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or a similar language
- Experience with Git and CI/CD concepts
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions
- Experience with Oracle databases
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools
- Experience with additional configuration management or IaC tools such as Puppet, Chef, or CloudFormation
- Understanding of basic Wi-Fi and networking concepts
- Experience supporting infrastructure across multiple environments
- Location: Greenwood Village, CO
- Hands-on infrastructure automation environment focused on Ansible, Terraform, Linux, scripting, and database support

- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $37.00 and $53.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
