Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an Applications Developer to join their team! This position is located in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Duties:
- Lead the development, modification, and support of complex web application modules and services in the .NET (C#) environment to meet project requirements for the integration and related business needs
- Translate functional and technical specifications into robust code, ensuring compliance with state/federal standards
- Develop and enhance data validation routines, structured data transformations, and transaction automation to support integration with existing databased
- Implement business logic and workflows for synchronization, correlation, audit, and record-merging processes in the criminal history repository
- Collaborate with technical leads, database administrators, and other project team members to design scalable solutions and troubleshoot integration challenges
- Participate in technical design sessions, reviews, and code walkthroughs, providing input on architecture, performance optimization, and maintainability
- Ensure all development work meets high standards for security, code quality, unit testing, and documentation, as required by federal grant compliance and state law
- Develop and execute comprehensive test scenarios and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles
- Document application enhancements, code changes, and system interfaces; contribute to training and knowledge hand-over to the technical staff
- Respond to defect reports and resolve critical incidents during all stages of software delivery and post-production support
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field; equivalent experience considered
- Professional experience in application/software development, with significant focus in .NET/C# web application frameworks
- Demonstrated expertise in database-driven application development using Microsoft SQL Server, including stored procedures, triggers, and data integration
- Experience developing and consuming web services (SOAP and REST), particularly for system-to-system government data exchanges
- Background integrating, securing, and troubleshooting distributed law enforcement, criminal justice, or similar regulated systems
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven, agile environment
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills

The approximate pay range for this position is between $49.00 and $70.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
