- Monday through Friday, regular 8AM-5PM shift, ensuring a consistent work-life balance
- Interpreting R&D contracts to determine accurate accrual schedules and models
- Updating clinical site accrual models using latest patient data and budgets
- Analyzing and reviewing R&D invoices and supporting documents for proper accruals
- Preparing detailed monthly R&D accrual schedules for managerial review
- Collaborating with the accounting team for month-end and quarter-end close, including all related accruals, reporting, and reconciliations
- Creating complex journal entries on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Partnering with internal and external stakeholders and vendors to ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting data
- Supporting quarterly and annual audits in compliance with US GAAP and company policy
- Assisting with process improvements and system implementations as assigned
- Supporting ad hoc financial projects as needed
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience (required)
- Have strong expertise in accruals, US GAAP, and the month-end close process (required)
- Demonstrate excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills (required)
- Are able to work the regular onsite shift (8AM – 5PM) in Alameda, CA
