- Engage in a collaborative environment that values compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Contribute to significant financial processes within a well-established organization
- Assist in monthly general ledger close and financial statement preparation. Timely closing within 5-7 business days of month-end. Monitors, reviews and reconciles official and general ledger accounts on daily, weekly and monthly basis - 40%
- Assist in preparation of regulatory and audit reports. Assists with NCUA, FRB, Opinion Exams/Audit cycles. Assist with resolution of findings or DOR items - 15%
- Perform HTM payroll and biweekly AHM/HFCU payroll entries and recons, handle monthly benefits entries and reconciliations - 10%
- Manage annual capital expenditures budgeting/projections/tracking - 25%
- Manage Tax related programs primarily for employee State and Federal taxes - 10%
- Hold a BS degree in Accounting or Finance; an MBA/CPA is preferred.
- Have 7-10 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Possess strong analytical skills and experience in fixed assets and tax-related programs.
