As a Sourcing Professional (Procurement Specialist II), you will be responsible for leading the Line of Business (LoB) in coupa system information, training, and compliance. This role is critical in maintaining procurement compliance for Manufacturing (PfM), managing supplier issues, and supporting the expansion and maintenance of site Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs. You will review spend for compliance with purchasing procedures, execute sourcing events, and serve as a contracts manager and subject matter expert.

You will review spend for compliance with purchasing procedures, execute sourcing events, and serve as a contracts manager and subject matter expert.
Essential Functions
- Serve as Coupa system manager and subject matter expert (SME) for site procurement systems.
- Lead, train, and support LoB in procurement systems and Coupa usage.
- Adjust Coupa content and assist/lead tactical sourcing events as needed.
- Create RfX events in Coupa for various departments.
- Ensure compliance of purchasing processes with corporate and local guidelines.
- Lead expansion and maintenance of the VMI program across multiple sites.
- Lead supplier qualification and resolve supplier issues related to cost, delivery, and quality.
- Monitor and track contract expiration dates with the Coupa contract repository.
- Assist with supplier selection criteria and facilitate LoB through sourcing processes.
- Partner with LoB teams to demonstrate how Purchasing supports overall business strategies.
- Serve as backup sourcing point of contact for the PfM process.
- Lead identification of PfM requirements and review data for compliance/usage inquiries.
- Monitor PfM training needs and spend compliance; recommend workflow and process changes for efficient, compliant operations.
- Follow all safety and environmental requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Act as first contract reviewer for contracts within scope.
- Oversee contract administration in Coupa contract repository.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field from an accredited university required
- Associates Degree in a relevant field with minimum of six (6) years of experience in planning/purchasing in a manufacturing environment or related field may be considered
- Experience:
- Minimum four (4) years of planning/purchasing experience in manufacturing or a related field required
- Experience with SAP or Coupa logistics/business modules required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
- Skills:
- Ability to export and analyze spend data for cost savings
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Process improvement and the ability to lead departmental projects
- Knowledgeable about purchasing procedures
- Problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Good presentation skills
- Ability to self-prioritize, organize work, and execute standard tasks effectively
