Kelly Services is hiring an MRP Controller / Operational Buyer in Farmington, CT!
If you have experience with MRP, production planning, or ERP systems, this role puts you at the center of manufacturing operations. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring materials are planned, ordered, and delivered on time to keep production running smoothly and efficiently.
You’ll join a fast-paced, collaborative team working closely with production, logistics, and suppliers, where organization, communication, and process-driven work are key to success and long-term growth.

What You’ll Do
- Manage MRP planning activities within SAP or an ERP system to support production demand
- Release planned orders and convert them into production orders
- Reschedule machine assembly and sub-assembly orders based on delivery timelines
- Align material flow to support production schedules and prevent delays
- Reassign materials as needed to meet changing production priorities
- Monitor and resolve material shortages to minimize production impact
- Create purchase requisitions and purchase orders for suppliers
- Track and manage supplier order confirmations and delivery schedules
- Partner with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth material movement
- Investigate and resolve inventory and material movement discrepancies
- Ensure all production orders are accurate, updated, and properly closed in the system
- 2 years of experience in MRP, production planning, or buyer support within manufacturing
- Experience working in SAP preferred (open to other ERP systems)
- Strong understanding of work orders, material flow, and production environments
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills with cross-functional teams and vendors
- Process-oriented mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
- Tech-savvy and comfortable working within systems and data
- Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Full-Time
- $26.00–$30.00/hr DOE | Weekly Pay
- Long Term Temp | Fully Onsite
