What’s a typical day as a Materials Coordinator? You’ll be responsible for a variety of hand-on and administrative tasks associated with purchasing, parts tracking, inventory control, stocking, kitting, expediting and shipping/receiving operations. Daily responsibilities will include:
- Parts tracking, reporting, and data entry into SAP
- Purchasing goods and services; creating purchase orders
- Coordinating with shops and vendors for stock availability and pricing, alternate part numbers, etc.
- Inventory control
- Backup support for Shipping department
- HS Diploma or GED
- Ability to work onsite Tuesday - Saturday, 8am - 5pm
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. throughout your daily shift
- Prior experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse, or inventory
- Basic computer knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and the ability to learn new software programs
