Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience

Shift: 1st Shift 6am - 230pm | 2nd Shift 330pm - 12am Monday - Friday

What’s a typical day as Material Handler? You’ll be:

• Receiving, storing, counting, and issuing equipment, materials, products, and supplies in support of plant operations
• Picking orders following established procedures
• Packaging and shipping materials accurately and efficiently
• Operating scanners to complete inventory transactions
• Ensuring a continuous flow of materials throughout the supply chain
• Performing physical inventories as required
• Safely operating fork and/or reach trucks
• Assisting with machine, assembly, and other duties as assigned by your Supervisor

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have at least 1 year of related experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Must have experience with reach truck, forklift, and pallet jack
• Possess basic math and computer skills to perform inventory and shipping transactions
• Are able to read, write, and understand English
• Hold a high school diploma or GED (preferred, but not required)
• Meet the physical requirements (frequently walking, talking, and/or hearing; occasionally standing, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds; specific vision abilities such as close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus)
• Are comfortable working in a warehouse and/or office environment
