Kelly Services is hiring Forklift/Clamp Operators in Rochester, WA !
Shift:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30PM
Pay Rate:
- $20.50 an hour
Position Summary:
The Clamp Operator operates a clamp forklift to handle, move, load, and unload large appliances and products safely and efficiently. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a clamp forklift to move large appliances (e.g., refrigerators, washing machines, dryers) within the warehouse.
- Load and unload products from trucks and trailers using clamp attachments.
- Stack and store products in designated areas to prevent damage.
- Safely handle fragile or high-value appliances, ensuring minimal damage during handling.
- Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning or manual documentation.
- Assist with general warehouse duties such as palletizing, sorting, and organizing products.
- Follow safety procedures, guidelines, and company policies to prevent accidents and product damage.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate the efficient movement of products.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, damages, or inventory discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications:
- Must have Valid Driver License
- Experience operating a forklift is required.
