Forklift Operator
Location: Pooler, GAPay Rate: $17.50/hr
Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Job Description
We are looking for dependable and experienced Forklift Operators to join our team. As a forklift operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe handling of goods within our storage facility. This includes loading and unloading goods, moving products within the warehouse, and adhering to all safety protocols and quality standards.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load and unload goods from containers and trailers.
- Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
- Stack goods in the correct storage area, following inventory control instructions.
- Check loads to ensure they are secure.
- Stack empty pallets in designated areas.
- Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging equipment or changing propane tanks.
- Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines.
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
Qualification Requirements:
- Good math, language, and reading skills.
- High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others and promote a safe work environment.
- Ability to follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records.
- Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Forklift certification per OSHA standards is required; 1 years of experience is preferred.
