Kelly® is seeking a Document Control Specialist I to join our team supporting a major energy client in Houston’s Energy Corridor. As a Document Control Specialist, you will manage, track, coordinate, and archive technical drawings for UST Assets across diverse project types—including O&M, Capital, and MOCs—primarily using the Meridian Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
Location: Houston, TX (Energy Corridor)
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm (Hybrid/3 days/week onsite)
Pay Rate: $18/hr – $20/hr
Assignment: Long-term contract (1 year)

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, issue, track, distribute, and archive technical drawings using the EDMS.
- Coordinate drawing requests and packages for O&M, Capital, and Core projects.
- Investigate issues related to data quality, process management, and other potential gaps.
- Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders and present interpretive and summary data.
- Assist external consultants and internal teams with standards, procedures, and contractual requirements related to drawing control.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of drawing control standards and procedures.
- Ensure accurate and complete metadata and technical drawings within the EDMS.
- Prepare technical drawings for requestors and special projects.
- Support Construction and As-building drawing coordination using Meridian software.
- Collaborate closely with Drawing Control Analysts and Drafters across multiple teams to maintain data quality.
- Related Technology Diploma or equivalent certification and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD.
- Experience with Meridian (or similar drawing management systems) and/or oil & gas industry is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills in a deadline-driven, customer-focused environment.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and a proactive team player with excellent work ethic.
