Responsibilities
- Receive, process, and apply payments for all tax types via cash, checks, debit/credit cards, and money orders.
- Assist taxpayers with licensing applications, updates, and inquiries.
- Provide guidance and information on licensing laws, rules, and procedures.
- Complete daily till reconciliation and end-of-day balancing.
- Maintain accuracy and professionalism in high-volume, customer-facing interactions.
- Work in-person at Mesa and Phoenix offices, adhering to office-specific business hours.
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
- At least 1 year in a high-production environment.
- Experience handling cash and performing reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Google Suite.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in-person at Mesa and Phoenix offices.
- Bilingual (English another language).
- Previous experience in government, licensing, or tax processing.
- Experience with CRM systems or payment processing software.
- Knowledge of tax or licensing regulations.
