Shift: Day Shift | Monday to Friday | 8AM to 5PM | Onsite

Pay Rate: $18/hr

Summary Of Responsibilities

The Customer Service Representative 3 is a customer-facing role at the Arizona Department of Revenue, focused on licensing and payment processing. The position requires assisting taxpayers, processing license applications, applying payments, and performing end-of-day reconciliation.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, process, and apply payments for all tax types via cash, checks, debit/credit cards, and money orders.
  • Assist taxpayers with licensing applications, updates, and inquiries.
  • Provide guidance and information on licensing laws, rules, and procedures.
  • Complete daily till reconciliation and end-of-day balancing.
  • Maintain accuracy and professionalism in high-volume, customer-facing interactions.
  • Work in-person at Mesa and Phoenix offices, adhering to office-specific business hours.

Must-haves

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
  • At least 1 year in a high-production environment.
  • Experience handling cash and performing reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in-person at Mesa and Phoenix offices.

Skills Desired/Preferred

  • Bilingual (English another language).
  • Previous experience in government, licensing, or tax processing.
  • Experience with CRM systems or payment processing software.
  • Knowledge of tax or licensing regulations.
