Key Responsibilities
- Manage and evaluate supplier relationships—both domestic and international—to ensure smooth material flow and inventory management.
- Research, identify, and negotiate with vendors for quality products and the best prices, preparing bids and purchase orders with efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues, secure timely deliveries, and execute corrective actions when needed.
- Leverage your Excel and Microsoft Office skills for tracking, analysis, and reporting.
- Perform vendor assessments and participate in team-oriented process improvements while maintaining professionalism, punctuality, and resource stewardship.
- Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school required.
- Ability to comfortably add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units—whole numbers, fractions, decimals, discounts, and percentages.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- A flexible team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in purchasing or supply chain is a plus.
