Job Summary
A local East Syracuse organization is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you will assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and finished products following work instructions, schematics, and quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong manual dexterity, good problem-solving skills, and experience working in a manufacturing or electronics assembly environment.

The ideal candidate has strong manual dexterity, good problem-solving skills, and experience working in a manufacturing or electronics assembly environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic components, wiring, and hardware according to blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
- Perform soldering (surface-mount and/or through-hole) and basic wiring as needed.
- Inspect parts and finished products for accuracy, completeness, and quality compliance.
- Use hand tools, fixtures, microscopes, and test equipment during assembly.
- Label, package, and prepare completed units for final testing or shipping.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Document production steps, completed work, and material usage in internal systems.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
- Previous assembly experience preferred (electronics, mechanical, or light manufacturing).
- Ability to read and follow written instructions, diagrams, and simple schematics.
- Strong hand–eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Experience with soldering is a plus (company may train the right candidate).
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic computer skills and ability to complete documentation accurately.
