Senior Scientist

Kelly Science is seeking a Senior Scientist for a growing client located in East Falmouth, MA.

Salary: $150,000-170,000/year

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Employment Type: Full Time; Direct Hire

Responsibilities include:

• Develop new detection methods using recombinant proteins and new technologies.
• Build relationships with outside collaborators and manage joint projects.
• Advance scientific understanding of current products to support improvements and new product development.
• Expand the range of products within the framework of the company
• Conceptualize and implement new research areas.
• Provide technical support as needed.
• Supervise Research and Development staff

Qualifications:

• PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related scientific field
• Extensive expertise in protein chemistry, biochemistry, enzymology, assay development, and method validation, with strong knowledge of ICH/regulatory guidelines and ISO/cGMP standards.
• Significant experience in electrochemistry, sensor chips, microfluidics (MEMS), and medical device/assay development under Design Control, including technology transfer and scale-up.
• Proven scientific creativity, innovation, and strong communication skills.
