We are seeking a Scientist / Senior Scientist with expertise in lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulation and delivery to support the development of nucleic acid-based therapeutics. This role will focus on the design, formulation, and optimization of LNP systems for efficient delivery of RNA and other payloads. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nanoparticle formulation, analytical characterization, and process development, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced R&D environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nanoparticle formulation, analytical characterization, and process development, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced R&D environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, formulate, and optimize lipid nanoparticle (LNP) systems for nucleic acid delivery (e.g., mRNA, siRNA)
- Execute formulation development using techniques such as microfluidics or ethanol injection
- Characterize LNPs for key attributes including particle size, polydispersity, encapsulation efficiency, and stability
- Evaluate LNP performance in vitro, including transfection efficiency and cellular uptake
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support therapeutic development and delivery strategies
- Maintain accurate and detailed experimental records in accordance with internal and regulatory standards
- Analyze data, interpret results, and communicate findings to internal stakeholders
- Troubleshoot formulation and process challenges to improve product performance and reproducibility
- Support scale-up activities and technology transfer as needed
- Scientist: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or related field with 3–6 years of relevant experience
- Senior Scientist: PhD or Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant industry experience
- Hands-on experience in LNP formulation and nucleic acid delivery required
- Experience with nanoparticle characterization techniques (e.g., DLS, HPLC, encapsulation assays)
- Strong understanding of drug delivery systems and formulation principles
- Familiarity with GMP considerations and documentation practices is a plus
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
