Quality Engineer

Our client is seeking a Quality/Industrial Engineer who has current experience in a manufacturing or distribution manufacturing setting for a direct hire opportunity in Kansas City, MO. Those with a BS Degree in an Engineering discipline is reuqired. Co-op or 1-4 years’ experience is required!

Requirements:

• QMS Experience
• Distribution/Logistics in a manufacturing environment
• Non-conformance resolution
• Be team centric- willing to take direction from Management as well as be an instrument of change!

Additional Duties and Responsibilities which may be required to perform this position are outlined below:

• Manage an effective Quality Assurance program with Iso 9001 principles including objectives, site operating procedures, and work instructions (SOP)
• Ensure essential Quality Management System policies and procedures are consistently implemented
• Six Sigma Desired
• Knowledge with Internal and External Auditing a plus
