Manufacturing Technician (Billerica, MA)
Pay Rate: $32/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (or as assigned).
Location: Cleanroom/manufacturing environment.
Job Summary
Join our team as a Manufacturing Technician I, assembling and testing semiconductor capital equipment in a cleanroom environment. This role requires strong electro-mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Key Responsibilities & Requirements
Assemble mechanical and electrical components using hand and power tools.
Read and follow assembly drawings, schematics, diagrams, and SOPs.
Perform inspections, testing, and troubleshooting during build process.
Accurately document production data and report issues.
Follow ISO9001, quality, and safety standards (including PPE use).
Support engineering teams with equipment builds and lab tasks.
Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
2 years of manufacturing experience.
Ability to lift 30 lbs., stand for extended periods, and travel if needed.
Nice To Have
Electro-Mechanical Expertise: Proficient in sub-assembly, wiring, and assembling electrical and mechanical components, including building test fixtures for PCBs and assembling core furnaces.
Testing and Troubleshooting Skills: Extensive experience in testing, troubleshooting, and diagnosing failures in PCB and electro-mechanical systems, with hands-on use of ICT machines for quality inspections.
