Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Assignment Length: 12 Months (As a W2 employee of KellyOCG)

Position Overview
As a Manufacturing Engineer supporting the assembly line, you will work with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You'll manage capital projects, optimize assembly operations, and support current processes with troubleshooting and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement projects for safety, quality, delivery, and cost
- Lead and manage small to moderate scope capital projects
- Establish and maintain assembly layouts, labor standards, methods, and sequence of operations
- Analyze, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies
- Provide daily support and troubleshooting for assembly operations
- Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvement ideas for assembly
- 3 years of experience with manufacturing processes, quality, tooling, preventative maintenance, and facilities
- Strong background using engineering tools and manufacturing execution systems
- Proven experience leading and completing projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills with operators, peers, and leadership
- Self-motivated and able to execute with minimal supervision
- Strong personal accountability and follow-through; ability to foster a positive and engaged team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technology discipline (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering preferred), or equivalent related work experience
