- Work only onsite in a shop floor environment where ~50% of your time will be spent on your feet.
- Engage in factory activities involving metatarsal safety boots and occasional intra-facility travel.
- Opportunity to drive a John Deere Gator within the factory (upon completion of safety training).
- Work in a reputable industry leader dedicated to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge in one of the following areas: manufacturing, distribution, quality, tool design, maintenance, facilities
- Background in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, power systems, etc.)
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Demonstrated conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Experience with manufacturing software like: Creo View, AutoCAD, SAP
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology discipline or equivalent experience (required)
- Recent graduates considered; manager prefers GPA listed on resume
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, etc.)
- 3D Modeling (Creo View, SolidWorks, etc.)
- AutoCAD
- Fully onsite (no remote); business casual dress code
- Will need metatarsal safety boots for first day
- Must be comfortable with shop floor/factory environment
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Interview preference: Teams/virtual, but onsite may be considered for local candidates
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
- May drive a John Deere Gator inside the factory; must complete Deere safety training for approval
- May drive personal vehicle to other local facilities within 20-mile radius; no rental cars used
