Temp Lab Coordinator for MECE Instructional Labs
Expected duties:
• Enforce lab safety and operational rules as described in the lab conduct agreement, which includes Rascal Training 0600 (Machine Shop Safety) and Rascal Training 4951 (Lab Safety, Chemical Hygiene, Hazardous Waste Management, and Fire Safety Initial Training)
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the lab space, equipment, tools, and raw materials, which includes hazardous waste pick-up requests
• Assist in creating and maintaining a digital inventory of lab equipment, tools, & raw materials, and make purchase requests as needed in Quartzy
• Assist in managing swipe access and locker access
• Updating website material via the Squarespace platform
• Performs other administrative tasks, duties, and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
• Ability to lift 10-15 lbs overhead
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Minimum degree requirement: high school diploma
