Kelly Engineering is partnering with a global industry leader on an exciting 6-month HSE project based in the Kansas City area. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a focus on construction safety, specifically around the decommissioning of manufacturing and laboratory facilities.
What you will do:
- Initial project HSE gap assessment and priority risk review within the first two weeks of assignment.
- Daily field observation documentation including significant findings, critical risks, and required follow-up items.
- Weekly written status report summarizing key activities, leading concerns, open actions, incident/event status, and emerging project risks.
- Review and documented comments on high risk work plans, permits, JSAs/JHAs, and energy isolation plans
- Tracking and communication of corrective actions identified through field observations, events, inspections, and project meetings.
- Support for event investigation, corrective action follow-up, and lessons learned documentation.
- Final project closeout summary of significant risks, key observations, major events, and lessons learned at completion of assignment.
Qualification:
- Background in construction safety
- Understanding of regulated manufacturing/lab environments a plus
