Associate QC Scientist – Somerset, NJ
Position Summary
The ideal candidate is a practical problem solver with strong technical expertise in chromatographic and mass spectrometry techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing project priorities within a GMP-regulated laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform bioanalytical testing and validation activities using HPLC, LC-MS, and other analytical instrumentation in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Empower Chromatography Data System (CDS) for data acquisition, processing, review, and reporting.
- Support analysis of small molecule pharmaceutical compounds
- Support method transfers and analytical method development activities under the guidance of an Associate Scientist or Scientist.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of bioanalytical workflows, chromatographic techniques, and validation principles.
- Maintain laboratory documentation and records in compliance with GMP, GLP/GxP, and applicable quality standards.
Required
- Associate's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
- Hands-on experience with HPLC and/or LC-MS instrumentation.
- Experience using Waters Empower Chromatography Data System (CDS) for chromatographic data acquisition and analysis.
- Experience supporting small molecule analytical testing.
- Working knowledge of GMP documentation practices and regulatory requirements.
