hat’s a typical day as A&P Quality Inspector? You’ll be:
- Performing inspections on helicopters or helicopter parts during modification, installation, or overhaul to determine airworthiness, safety, and compliance with approved data and company standards.
- Reviewing work order resolutions for compliance with FAA regulations and established company policies.
- Ensuring continuity of inspection during personnel, shift, or assignment changes.
- Inspecting incoming and outgoing parts for condition and serviceability.
- Verifying adequacy and completion of work order squawk resolutions and preliminary inspections.
- Conducting logbook research and entries.
- Performing in-process and final inspections and approving articles or aircraft for return to service.
- Carrying out other duties as assigned.
- Hold a valid A&P License (IA preferred).
- Possess strong knowledge of FAA 14 CFR, Part 145, Part 135, and Part 91 regulations.
- Are experienced with inspection methods, techniques, practices, aides, equipment, and tools used to determine airworthiness.
- Have clear and professional communication skills.
- Are proficient with computers and MS Office applications.
- Can understand, read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Have at least 18 months of practical experience in helicopter maintenance with applicable articles.
- Can reliably commute to North Perry Airport, FL.
