Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Bookkeeper role located in Farmingville, NY. The Bookkeeper will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including managing bookkeeping tasks, preparing financial statements, and recording journal entries. Additional responsibilities include utilizing accounting software to ensure accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting the finance team in analyzing financial data and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Bookkeeping, creating Journal Entries, and maintaining accurate financial records
- Experience with Financial Statements and Finance practices, including account reconciliation and financial analysis
- Hands-on experience with Accounting Software (Buildertrend, Quickbooks) for accurate data entry and reporting
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Minimum of an Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience in real estate, construction, or a similar industry
