Minimum Requirements:
- 18 years of age
- HS diploma
- State Required Missouri Substitute Teacher Certificate - 36 college credit hours or high school diploma and completion of substitute training course - Must apply and receive Missouri Substitute Teacher Certificate
- Kelly offers the substitute Pathways Substitute Training course (fee applies) for candidates without the 36 college credit hours Missouri Substitute Certification Process
Payrates/position:
Substitute Teacher - $120.00/daily rate
Substitute Paraprofessional/Teacher Assistant/Clerical $15.00/hour

Responsibilities:
- Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
- Build a classroom environment that’s conducive to learning and appropriate to the ability and interests of students
- For long-term assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments
